Here’s the description of a problem on del.icio.us with mixed-case in usernames and for: tags.
I haven’t found mention of this anywhere and I’ve sent a note to the support email stated on the del.icio.us: if and when I get an answer I’ll report it.

delicious haltOn del.icio.us when the user name isn’t written exactly (ie using the exact and same upper and lower case(s)) as the name in the network the for: tag fails to work. This is not made worse an issue by the posting interface: when adding an url through the “post” function, user names in the “your network” suggestions are all in lower case and may not reflect the actual username.

Example: in my network (del.icio.us/network/nicoladagostino) I have a user which has the “kOoLiNuS” username (del.icio.us/kOoLiNuS). This mixed case username is shown “for:koolinus”, that is all lowercase, in the for: tags suggestions/list whe I post a new url to del.icio.us. If I accept and use this lowercase syntax the system doesn’t notify him the bookmark, that is the user doesn’t see it in the “links for you” section.
On the other hand if I write the for tag by myself using the exact name, “for: kOoLiNuS”, or I correct it in the previous instances, the “links for you” feature works as it should.
