Of course it’s not a race, I know at least one other user whose count is vastly superior to mine. Nonetheless, considering how many of these bookmarks have been put to (good?) use, for me it’s a kind of a giant step. :)

Questo che leggete è probabilmente uno degli ultimi se non proprio l’ultimo testo scritto e pubblicato in maniera tradizionale su nezmar.com, digitando qualcosa ex novo nell’editor di WordPress.

Dopo circa un anno di ricerche, esperimenti e verifiche è giunto il momento di trasformare nezmar.com in qualcosa di diverso: un raccoglitore delle cose migliori pubblicate altrove, nello specifico su Delicious, Flickr e Twitter.
Tecnicamente si tratta di un “lifestream selezionato” effettuato grazie al plug-in FeedWordPress e -ovviamente- alla disponibilità di feed specifici per i contenuti da recuperare.

Questo sistema mi permette di radunare, valorizzare e condividere immagini, commenti, idee e segnalazioni che spargo e continuo a spargere in giro sui siti e servizi del cosiddtto “Web 2.0” e dedicarmi un po’ di più al lavoro ma anche a Storie di Apple, Stories of Apple, MusicBlob e altri progetti online in stadi più o meno avanzati come machack.it e boo.kmark.it (che probabilmente non conoscevate).

Per chi fosse interessato all’aspetto tecnico ecco come ho implementato tutto il meccanismo, a cominciare dalle fonti.

Long version: let’s see two very special urls mentioned on the support forum that delve into the more social aspects of bookmarking at Delicious.com.
You can try them by just swapping ‘account’ with your own username (if you have one, that is).

delicious.com/account/system:has:for

Explanation: this url will show all of the bookmarks one has forwarded to other del.icio.us users with the official “for:” tag and will also show the grand total (1076 in my case).
Usefulness: you can check which how much bookmarks you have spamm^^ forwarded to people in your network.

delicious.com/account/system:has:via

Explanation: if you use the unofficial this url will show all of the bookmarks one has “credited” to other del.icio.us users and will also show the grand total (around 290 in my case).
Usefulness: you can do a search on which and how many bookmarks on any topic you have actually got from other del.icio.us users and hence also the usefulness (to you) of its social networking features.

Stephen Shankland writes on Webware

On a less ironic note: expecting to find Britney Spears’ latest misadventures bookmarked on Delicious is like expecting to find a neurolinguistic paper on the top page of Digg. It’s simply just not going to happen.

È cominciato a luglio con l’aggiornamento del software e del layout anche un rinnovamento della grafica sul blog di Delicious.

Arrivati a dicembre possiamo constatare che se prima l’iconografia dei post era un mix eterogeneo il nuovo corso prevede perlopiù illustrazioni più coerenti tra di loro e che giocano con i colori e le funzioni del servizio di bookmarking sociale.
Ecco di seguito quelle viste in questi cinque mesi con link alle rispettive entry sul blog.

Nota: l’unica eccezione a questo nuovo design sinora è stata:

che cita scherzosamente, anche nel titolo, il satellite-arma dei cattivi nella saga di Star Wars (Guerre Stellari). ;-)
