So here’s a list of pleas suggestions for the Delicious team about some things they could (and should) fix in the next version/revision.

1. When you click on the “save” button to add a bookmark to your account, Delicious could (and should) also copy the valuable “Notes” field (i.e. the description)
2. In the same way it could (and should) also copy the tags. In the meantime there’s a nice javascript bookmarklet that does it also adds a via:username tag
3. Disable the global “send” (i.e. sharing) of all bookmarks on Twitter and make it only a per item option.
4. Also: when sharing on Twitter Delicious could (and should) add automatically the title of the bookmark since the url shared on twitter show up as just a “mistery meat” icio.us with no clue about the content and destination.
5. In the Network list it would be nice if the apostrophes wouldn’t show up as Html entities

It’s been surely already done elsewhere, but it’s still a good exercise in using Google Charts and specifically matching percentages with color palettes. Check the HTML source for the syntax.

Il limite dei 144 caratteri di Twitter è una sfida.

Più o meno inconsciamente ho accettato questa sfida.

Noto che sto sviluppando una mia grammatica del micropost su Twitter.
Elementi di questa nuova microcomunicazione sono l’usare url, @ e/o tag, essere (ovviamete) concisi ed al contemo leggibili, talvolta anche discorsivi.

Nell’ottobre scorso ho liquid^^ scritto di Twitter come di un luogo per “idee, appunti, dialoghi, battute, sondaggi e quant’altro”. Confermo, ma sopo una ricerca tra i vecchi post aggiungerei anche: tanti esperimenti.

Volendo fare una rapida cronistoria noto che solamente una settimana dopo aver creato l’account su Twitter ne notavo le caratteristiche formali. Nove mesi dopo ci facevo le prime microrecensioni.

Qualche mese dopo, nel gennaio 2008, precisavo definendolo come un potenziale generatore di microcontenuti, cosa che ho cercato di dire poi anche al Microcamp (come risposta a chi invece si interrogava sull’uso “giusto” del servizio). Nonostante abbia verificato quasi subito questo potenziale per sfruttarlo appieno c’è voluto lo scorso febbraio, quando Twitter è finalmente divenuto parte dello sferragliante meccanismo di pubblicazione distribuita (per gli amici lifestreaming selezionato o contenstreaming) di nezmar.com.

E vissero felici e microcontenti. ;-)
