del.icio.us: bookmark check
Based on my two previous posts (both in italian) and the developers mailing list thread here’s a condensed list of resources available to check one’s del.icio.us bookmarks for dead urls, this time in english:
- LinkChecker, a plugin for the per Firefox browser, hence multiplatform.
- del.icio.us post checker in Java, also multipiattaform, with the source code avalilable.
- Fresh del.icio.us, also in Java
- dead.licious, which is Macintosh only and capable of checking also your ma.gnolia or Simpy accounts.
- dis.astro.us a script in Python. It is also multiplatform but has no GUI and is a command-line tool. Requisites, installation and usage are explained on the web site.
- Delicious Link Checker another command-line script, this time in Perl.
